I would really love channel rules to come back or have a little more space for information. It’s hard for new people to figure out how to join and the norms and I have nothing to point them to. One pin isn’t really enough. But if I had more characters somewhere I could include a little more info. I’m already using all the real estate I have.

While they weren't perfect, I would bring back much of the OLD channel infrastructure (at least optional for large channels): no memberships/anyone can cast, tabs, reddit style algo, warn and hide, channel rules, multiple pins). Obviously, improvements could be made: more flex is better so OPTIONALITY on these - particularly a choice between 3-4 algos (evenutally dials), membership vs. open, pin carousel. My view is that while channel builders don't build legos like developers, we are excited to build community over time and active channel builders/mods end up being some of the most committed Farcasters. We should encourage more mods of larger channels (this is a huge to do list item for me personally). One more idea: badges to acknowledge achievements (in channels and on WC rewards, etc.)

voice notes with a single button push to launch and a pre set voice filter for pseudonymity (and I guess fun) button next to the actions button. Launch record see play button with voice note line in a cast. The voice note is the cast ability to add voice notes as comments voice notes should be exportable so that third parties could allow you to create podcasts out of them if you want… but that’s a bonus Definitely the ability to share to other social media apps is a must

This is what I'm saying about the vision 😅 I'm always shocked by the promotion of the "benevolent dictator" concept around here. It seems you are making soft promotion for dictatorship in general. So I would suppress the idea that " benevolent dictators" exist and embrace a mental model more orientated towards the evolution of democracy. (Which would be actually closer to reality in this kind of community driven participation you are asking). 🙏✨

GIF keyboard support. The ability to communicate with meme GIFs is unpleasant to use. It was, truthfully, one of the reasons I was willing to shell out 10 USDC for Super.

If you delete a DC conversation and then try to message that person again, it fails. It’s not until they message you and then you can converse with them again through DC’s

topic tags to improve content discovery and organization. my hope is this might also help spawn more vibrant niche channels if, for example, analytics show significant usage overlap of several seemingly disparate tags. i'm thinking, too, of how on reddit i'll often discover a large sub like, say, r/skateboarding that then leads me to more niche subs like r/longboarding and then r/longboardingDISTANCE i'd like to better embrace the content overlap among sometimes diverse communities of various sizes and ages.
