"I do expect a world that is somewhat more dynamic in both economic and political rules and in cultural dimensions, and that gives people more options." I would say this is already a promise of crypto, but the market culture has become so dominant that two issues remain unsolved : - Discovery : when CEX are the vastly dominant gate for entering crypto, common people see only speculative culture (which is far to be dominant in the "normal world" ). So we need other forms of portals that clearly show the variety of possibilities (instead of trying to turn everyone into a trader). - Communication : X being hyper centralized, many saw an alternative in Farcaster (and other social experiences), but Farcaster is now developing more speculation (= alignement on market mono culture). Yet as it is a protocol different possibilities can emerge, such as @cura and @sopha ... Diversity is struggling to emerge, but it exists ! It's just hard to discover and nuture. There is still hope.

This is very interesting. Markets alone can tend to mono culture and in the end may destroy diversity... This relates strongly to the culture that some want to develop in cryptos. At the end one just creates the market mono culture. https://vitalik.eth.limo/general/2025/12/17/societies.html
