Tokens have been underutilized as tools for alignment and incentives. They can be good tools for capital formation but i think their ability to align, incentivize and coordinate is far more interesting. We need people to better utilize tokens to their full extent with all that they can enable and power. Most tokens are dumb, it’s time that we build more smart tokens.

Farcaster continues to take away the fun features (custom reactions, animated gifs) and I don’t think @dwr values fun as much as he should when thinking about priorities. I understand that trading features and performance are key priorities. I support that but taking away the fun things that have acted as social glue is a mistake.

We should all cherish this time before this social network is 10M+ users and beyond. Early days. Cozy times. Feels good but we all want Farcaster to grow and win. It’s the ultimate version of social that’s permissionless, programmable and interoperable.
