I was getting slowed creating/playing/tweaking MIDI via the Remix MCP. So I decided to skip that mud pit and build an audio engine using Zig.
Zig is a great choice when you need to do native, compute-heavy, self-contained C-level work that doesn't need a big ecosystem.
