For a while I’ve been sneaking in the mid day workout (usually between 11-1 depending on schedule) which I’ve liked. Splits up the day and naturally blocks out 2 distinct work periods. Gonna experiment with moving workouts to the mornings.

prefer morning because otherwise something always comes up and never get to it later in the day

Same. If I don’t do cardio first thing in the morning, I’m not doing cardio 🙃 When I’m WFH, I try getting a 45 minute lift session in right before lunch

Wherever I can fit it into my day. I used to do it at lunch time, then in the morning before work, now in the evening after work. I always block time for it in my calendar and have everything ready for it to minimize friction.

Morning! I consider fitness to be the most important task of the day. It’s “easy” to let it slip if I plan it for later in the day.

I like doing it in the afternoon because mornings are reserved for deep work when my brain is working the best

Morning makes for a more efficient day but workout has an end time. It’s nice to have an uncapped workout where I can go nuts. Would prefer morning if I had more free time, as such prefer night

Not a morning person so I have always done post work. Ideal time is noon; it will reset my stress lvls from work in the morning and give me a second wind to keep working in the afternoon

I actually do midday; I go over to the gym before lunch and work out; and then have lunch Lunch is usually a snack/leftovers and a protein shake

I cannot get myself to do in the afternoon though. I don’t know how people do it. Seems like a big distraction from whatever you are doing at work.

(Caveat: I work from home.) I do it every day, first thing after dropping the kid to school. The days when I waffle about doing it first thing (eg weekends), I’m highly likely to not end up doing exercise as something comes up.

I prefer to workout during the morning but I start the working hours pretty early :( so, I almost have no options but opting out for afternoon/evening Sometimes if I work out too late, I tend to have problems to fall asleep. So, I try to get away from that as much as I can
