This shipped Friday on snapchain mainnet!
The only significant change from my last round of discussions is that the TTL _must_ be greater than 0 and lte 90 days. This encodes respect for users' keys and inactivity with a given signer at the protocol layer.
Just posted a draft for our offchain signers standalone FIP in the protocol discussion board. It includes some nice features like letting devs revoke their own signers. Will be implementing and testing over the next couple weeks and feedback is more than welcome!
Another (anotha?) h/t @cassie for sharing this initial

My cargo bike arrived today! Seats 3-4 adult passengers if anyone wants a lift
Americans are paying in the trillions to lose the Iran war?
Things are about to get very, very bad for Americans. Buckle up. Might want to get used to riding the bus or biking to work, if you can find work when you get laid off.
The AI productivity optimists are in for a very rude awakening, and soon.
Good luck friends

I am afraid we're heading into an era where people who aren't very computer literate treat prompts that do cool stuff like Elder Scrolls. The prompt optimization blog industrial complex really bugs me out

One thing I forgot to mention during the call today: Does anyone want to take a shot at implementing this FIP to put blocks on the protocol?
If you want to do it but are hesitant, reach out to me here or in DC's

working on a language like go or rust where 90%+ of the unit and integration test harnesses exist alongside the core language tools (and almost every test is insanely fast) is such a nice change from typescript.

Quick update on this fip. I've spent the past couple weeks improving our observability and stability on the snapchain side so i've only just got back to implementing it. In that time we also added scoping on the message types that a gasless snapchain signer can submit.
Scoping and a sliding TTL will help prevent unaut...
Excited to announce that, with the latest release, both validator and reader snapchain nodes now have a memory footprint of up to 8GB. Default config runs at about 4GB, and all you need to do to get these benefits is pull in the latest release by running your upgrade script
Big props to @cassie for figuring out the fi
