I’ve attempted to adopt obsidian over years. Never done it successfully. But there is no other journaling/personal brain brand that I have wanted to adopt more. It almost feels out of my reach like trying to buy a Birkin bag from Hermes or a McLaren, feels timeless, many times. And I think is representative of so...
formats evolve over decades, apps over months, intelligence is evolving every day in terms of pace layers "file over app" defines priorities: invest deeply in proven formats, and don't expect anything at the intelligence layer to last very long

The sense of relief I’m feeling from having a company brain is not something I was expecting. NO ai hooked up to all the info but seeing dispersed abstractions I a single place brings some sort of peace of mind. Especially at the speed the rest of the world is moving.

I have a real love-hate relationship with the current administration. On one side I’m glad the other administration did not come into office. On the other side they do shit like today and I’m like, wtf! (It’s not their first time). But every moment like this helps me grow appreciate for the other side of the argume...

I find it shocking how often I’m surprised when I find yet another “built anything through us” product. It’s wild how many of these products exist. It shows how hard it is to gain mass adoption in consumer arena.

I’ve built many solutions towards my own problems. One of the current solutions has been getting daily active usage and has been one of my biggest areas of issues. Getting started on the overwhelming todo list and properly tracking money out in a way I don’t feel overwhelmed, even fun. Obviously has ai in it, is g...

In my speculative opinion, this is why Dan and V were very smart to stop chasing “sufficiently decentralzied” as a means to an end. Once Elon took over Twitter, I could sense the shift in urgency of that message and began to compete on experience but you cant beat something at scale if it’s innovating at the same cli...

Claude & Open AI imo are competing for the builder community. Open source, thinking machines, and many others are competing for products. Eg. Dev builds the product with Claude, integrates Inkling or open-source in the product for multi-modal tool calling intelligence. Harness is everything now.

I can’t be bothered to open apps anymore. Not even move the mouse to click it, ugh, such third world behaviors!

Maybe I should start a bank. What do you think?
We take for granted how easy it is to send money in crypto. And those outside the crypto walls are too naive how much of a miracle it is that you can send any amount of money so easily. It’s truly a revolutionary tech that will finally be realized due to ai.

The faster the llms ipo the faster we can get past the bubble. It’s definitely going to happen, 98.7% probability within 3yr, 67.8% within 2yrs, 42.0% within 1yr.

I’m so ready for the next smartphone moment of compute. I don’t want my phone to be that anymore.

This news is the most “network state” thing that could happen. States starting to carve themselves out of viable resources, becoming the new US vs GB. @balajis.eth have you covered this, feel like this is up your alley of predictions.

I have a theory things are getting harder due to AI, not easier.
