i’ve been too depressed to post or engage much online these last weeks therapy has been intense, and it’s bringing up a lot of old memories and feelings that have been challenging to deal with every conversation just reminds me of some fucked up thing no one wants to hear about. dozens and dozens of fucked up things are just constantly floating up to the surface i’m getting through them, though. i know it will all be for the best, and i’m excited to see what it’s like on the other side thanks for being here through it all 💛

when i went for therapy the first 3 months all i did was bawl and i pretty much cut everyone off for two years for the same exact reasons you’ve described. my close friends thought i’d died. at the end of it all however, all that emotional labour made sense, gave me a new lease on life quite literally. i hope you achieve what you’ve set out to do. x
