Yeah, there is a reason, but I won't ask others "why I don't like peanut", how can anyone know the reason, if I'm not telling them?

You don’t like it for the same reason some indigenous peoples did not want their photograph taken. At least that’s my reason, and the modern extrapolations of that as a metaphor. But I will prolly do it anyway because I’m a futurist and just try to touch more grass. Pray for forgiveness.

My last word on this. 

I think creator coins are idealistic. 

They’re a fantastic concept for a world in which crypto is better than it is. 

Farcaster is a great example of crypto being at its best and there are a lot of folks here who would happily support creators in good faith. 

I don’t think that’s representative of the broader crypto community; and most (the vast majority) of people buying creator coins are still going to be speculating traders with low emotional regulation who will turn on creators when their coins drop in value. 

Until crypto is better / more than a casino, and at scale, creator coins are going to wind up being treated like shitcoins.

- the best chance for viral content to accrue maximum creator value is from coins, not 1 of 1
- a 1 of 1 is just that, and timebound (in FC) to 24h so cannot continue to increase in value without additional work after

my opinion: 99.9999% of either one ultimately end up with zero value. so may as well experiment w stacking these things. and now that Gary’s off our neck, yolo

I don’t think there’s a good way to explain how liquidity forces price action yet or how much wasted capital is going to sit in LP positions on illiquid tokens forever, but both of these hide under the surface too

Even as someone that kinda does, I'm not sure I like (Zora) coins much. It's gambling with extremely predatory odds, and at the expense of people who like you. This is two layers of extra negatives compared to regular gambles.

For me it’s to do with my attention. Another thing to monitor, quantify, another set of tiny micro decisions

Have you ever had an acquaintance that was a pathological gambler, and wanted to turn everything into a bet? Where you would discuss if the weather would be good or not tomorrow, and would say "let's bet $5 it won't rain"? And then, when you estimated it would take at least 30 minutes to get to the party, they would say "I bet $10 we can do it in less"?

We are so lost in our coined bubble, where everything has an AMM pair, and speculation is built in everything, that we don't realize that to everyone else, we sound like our friend with a gambling problem.

I mean how would you feel if you were invited to a party, expecting to find friends and have fun, and when you arrived, the host said, "new folks: say something about yourselves, everyone: welcome them with a tip"? Seriously? Not, listen to them and try to know them, not make them feel at home, not let them pick the next song, but... give them a few cents or put their name in the lottery?

I'm convinced this is not the way to onboard the next billion people to web3. We just make their belief that this space is obsessed with money, stronger.

I hope I'm wrong, I really do.
