Farcaster is a blockchain-native town square where the sidewalks are made of mini apps and snaps. But the town is small — like southeastern Massachusetts small where everyone is 3 degrees of separation from each other.

I was convinced that with the latest bill — which removed direct yield — that Clarity was finally there and would pass. Now I’m not so convinced. While the banks are launching their own blockchains and stablecoins, their lobbyists are still on the necks of crypto trying to kill it. Not sure it survives this. Call your

🚨NEW: Another one that stands out from @SenJackReed: An amendment that “prohibits crypto from being used as legal tender, for example, to pay taxes.”
I think @Rep_Davidson introduced a bill to do that very thing (pay taxes) with $BTC last year.
