Farcaster is faster on Android! @gabrielayuso.eth made a lot of improvements to our app on Android. Many of you should be seeing faster opens and snappier performance. Hey Boss I had to switch from my iPhone to Android a few months ago because of financial issues, after using iPhone for 12 years. Just recently I’ve started to feel that Farcaster is finally getting better and that’s thanks to you. We all really appreciate it, but I still think there’s a lot more to be done

I can see an improvement! but compared with other apps it still feels slow imo why not cache some posts locally so that when the user opens the app they have something to read immediately instead of seeing 4 seconds of loading UI? twitter does this

No change here in speed that I can notice. I'm unsure how to take a video of my phone while on my phone. But timed it with a stopwatch, after forceclosed / reopen (no updates that I could see on the app store?). Stuck on the logo for 8 seconds on load, then 2 more seconds to finally load the feed. Manual feed refresh still feels broken. I'll get one if I'm lucky on the first or second swipe down, but then I can swipe 10-12 more times with no result.
