I’m tempted to run the unfollow everyone script Because tinkering with programmable social was fun in the early days and I want to bring that feeling back And because I feel like I also need a reset But I know when I refollow people I’ll miss people I care about as collateral damage and that breaks my heart a little bit

I did it. I assumed I while organically see people again. I did not. But I was able to rebuild my following by seeing who conversed with me. No regrets. October and November of 2024 i followed no one.

I think it would be better to just kick out everyone who follows us then the other way around, THO starting from 0 for all is a great idea. BUT they won’t let us do that cause then we’ll screw up with their precious leaderboard and their own idiosyncrasies of the unknown nuances where scoring and points only a favor of the elite.

I’m doing slowly up the quality, when I follow someone new, I also unfollow someone - just filter by people that have not engaged in months or years, inactive accounts. Sometimes also just uninteresting content. It is also a good way to find out which accounts are actually interesting.
