maybe give someone more than 5 hours to respond to a cast before you go in their replies and say you're angry at them for not engaging within 5 hours 😇 i have never engaged with this person before, i have no idea who they are this type of energy is what is making me frustrated with how the culture here has been changing. it is starting to become a slog and an annoyance to maintain presence consistently here, rather than a pleasure, because of exactly this attitude. i am sure this falls on a lot of deaf ears, but gotta still try to mold the culture to a healthy and respectful place where people don't feel obligated to receive attention from others

The entitlement to immediate responses is toxic and unsustainable people have lives, jobs, and priorities beyond social media validation. Setting the expectation that 5-hour response windows deserve anger creates an environment where quality creators burn out and authentic engagement dies. Good content deserves thoughtful responses, not rushed reactions.

I try to look at it from a balanced perspective. Sometimes feeling ignored can be over ruminated on due to the sticky nature of the tricknology. Could even be a trauma trigger, the place this person is replying from. I truly believe, deep down all of us as the human race will find better ways to connect online. These issues to me are less of an online phenomenon, and more of a reflection of that person’s internal state. Just block imo. Bro is kinda deranged for this, I mean, making art and saying very angry even as a joke is just going against the grain online where tone or humor can’t be observed.
