Moved from VSCode to Cursor and it's awesome

Is it that much superior to VSCode? I do just a tiny bit of Python, on the order of magnitude of hundreds of lines only (really just some Manim code for science communication animations). My main research code is in R (and nothing beats Rstudio for that).

They do have copilot even on web 👀 but I’ve been cheap and using chatGPT since I already pay for it

For smart contract dev: "You are a smart contract auditor, list the potential bugs in the following smart contract". Auto adding the whole file to context is really easy

For frotnend dev their button that adds an error and file into the chat window saves time debugging errors for me.

It’s an easy switch. Vs code took all the ideas from sublime / atom

Sublime but trying to switch to VS Code or an "AI IDE" in the next year or so.
