Would love to make an app everyone can use to schedule and crosspost to Farcaster + other platforms but it's hard to figure out the X part; the X API is a huge pain in the ass -- it's $5K/mo ($60K/yr) and the $200/mo limits are way too low Currently getting around it by using the Typefully API but they don't support attaching images

instead of X API, you could use Twikit - itโ€™s a twitter api wrapper python sdk without an api key have tried it myself, works wonderfully. hope you find it helpful! https://github.com/d60/twikito

you have to socialize the cost of the 5k/mo api somehow. hard to monetize a cross-post app though in the early stages.

That means @coinbasewallet has to pay that amount for people to be able to post directly from their coinbase wallet which is not so bad, it's all for the community. I heard that X sometimes do kick people out saying they violate the rules and regulations which they don't at some point

Idk of a better way to do other than using a browser extension. app on your phone etc. talks to a server that could be running on your PC - has a browser extension that injects the tweet + whatever content. would bypass APIs, again would only be for personal use + you don't have deal with headless browsers etc.
