My experiments have revealed Codex is shit at frontend design work (turns everything into cards), and Claude is pretty good. Even when each is given specific frontend design skills, Claude Opus 4.6 outperforms OpenAI GPT 5.4. I tried multiple frontend design skills, across shadcn, impeccable and web-design-guidelines.

Claude Code app is so crap compared to Codex app

Launching a codex plugin: Every prompt & agent response automatically becomes a git commit with the prompt in the commit message. Prompts are no longer lost context, but is stored in git for an LLM to later use.
