APPROVE WHAT YOU NEED 1. Today, users need to “approve” USDC before they can spend tokens in certain onchain miniapps. 2. This creates an extra transaction every time the user wants to send some tokens. The alternative, requesting the max approval amount, can turn off first time or security conscious users. 3. There are improvements coming (7702!), but in the meantime we are offering a more granular setting. 4. You can now choose to approve *just what you need* or, if you’re a regular Amps user, you can approve once and forget it. Remember, you can should always revoke token approvals for services you don’t use regularly. Thanks to @v for the nudge here.

Most of crypto enthusias keep saying that bullrun it's coming, shilling the tokens and telling Thier newbies to buy the dip and the dip keep dipping with them making them stuck with red portlaio,to me I never expect to wait for any bullrun once I see profits I take it and move on cause a lot of opportunities never end in crypto space

What do people here have in common? Did they all work in crypto? Were they all developers? Designers? Founders? Investors? Were they all Silicon Valley based? Were they all in their 20s, 30s, 40s? I tried to map them to existing communities I knew of elsewhere. It broke my brain because I couldn’t find a common denominator. Then it hit me. Everyone identified as a builder. https://paragraph.xyz/@adrienne/why-i-love-farcaster?referrer=0xaeA4A0dEDb94BA5b2b8ED9477A8a54379C584542

When I was at Coinbase one of my roles was PM for internal tools. I feel like internal tools is so underrated, the feeling you get when you help build something that saves your coworkers hours of manual work each week and they are incredibly happy / relieved was super fulfilling

“The United States’ advantage is decentralized and open innovation. Some people argue that we must close our models to prevent China from gaining access to them, but my view is that this will not work and will only disadvantage the US and its allies. Our adversaries are great at espionage, stealing models that fit on a thumb drive is relatively easy, and most tech companies are far from operating in a way that would make this more difficult. It seems most likely that a world of only closed models results in a small number of big companies plus our geopolitical adversaries having access to leading models, while startups, universities, and small businesses miss out on opportunities.” Mark Zuckerberg - “Open Source AI Is the Path Forward” https://go.fb.me/ceql4u

yea agreed with this. Generally, you are trying to teach an average participating consumer, net new behavior. In the order of magnitude this is how it has played out so far on incumbent social platforms , not by design but by how people interact with each other digitally. 1. Views (Most passive, and hence easiest to accrue, costs 0$) 2. Likes (less passive than views, needs a tiny user action, costs 0$, yet is 10X scarcer that views as metrics) 3. Comments (much harder than likes to give, needs thinking to come up with response to post, is 10x scarcer than likes, still costs 0$) ... 4. Mints (Costs >> 0$, lower friction than coming up with a comment to post natively on a platform but much higher friction than giving likes) ... For Mints to truly become a top 3 core social interaction, it needs to become effortless and insanely cheap / free to work at scale for an end-consumer. There are other ways to monetise for content creators.
