Is anyone here distributing “larger” tips? Once or twice a week I’ll tip $10-20, but I don’t use any of the microtipping apps. I tip larger amounts because I feel that it has more intention behind it, I can send a note, and usually pays for a coffee/small meal

Love this. This is what we need. I was casting about it and in convos last week about creating that kind of culture. I haven't been a good practioner (yet). I think there are some folks doing it, but it's def not part of the culture. Good on you!

Love it. I still sling 2025 $Degen in bigger drops and yo-yo between $1 usdc tips and one off “gifts”. All depends on the rhythms yet I’m generally in favor of less yet more substantial tips.

Thanks for asking. :) I don't use microtipping apps either, and probably never will. Even as a recipient I don't see the point of tracking all those txs for tiny amounts. I'd much rather contribute (or receive) $10 or more to a crowdfund or subscription or whatever. Feels more respectful of people's time and attention.

Yeah, also have been wondering about the tsunami of penny txs piling up everywhere 🌊 Still noicing*tipning for now bc handing a friend a twenty would feel weird to me (and add up faster than I could afford) Looking forward to microtxs making sense down the road

I find Noice helpful as a kind of record of intent. It shows that my words and actions are aligned and anyone can see what I’ve given and why. I’m publicly auditable and there always a message too 💜 Bx
