Why I appreciate people on FC: My first batch of tealights were so shitty. They smelled great but the shipping carriers were rough, and all the tealights were delivered dented. I was so embarassed in front of all the people on FC that I respected and looked up to. I felt I had to mention this to my customers that ordered because they probably weren’t expecting dented tealights. It was so painful owning up to a mistake out of my control. But the more I talked to my customers, the more they understood. Some people said the tealights had extra character, or downplayed the damage for me. No one filed a chargeback, complained, or wrote a bad review. The builder energy on FC + the encouragement to be scrappy + the understanding of when people make mistakes is a really special phenomenon. Just went through a particularly painful buying process with @akhil-bvs, and it reminded me how gracious people are on this purple app.

Are you kidding??? I loved the packaging… the art…Everything was so thoughtful. The candles smelled amazing and I love the tealight holders. Gorgeous and artisanal all around.
