This year I built a collection of work released on base that I’m very proud of. It’s a mix of photography, ai created from photography and ai based on previous prompts and photography. Artists should have the freedom to create using many tools, exploring many genres. I’m a macro photographer first but love to explore other ways to express myself. Using base, I have started to share some of my explorations with much more to come in 2025

It feels like a purple kind of day

It’s my birthday today, I’ve officially lived half a century. Crazy! My life has changed over the last few months. After 20 years of chronic pain, I have an opportunity at recovery. I have a combination of medications that have given me a window to live more and experience life outside of my home. I’m going to all my kids cricket matches each weekend which brings on a lot more pain during the week as I recover but I’m ok with that because in time, I should hopefully be stronger and won’t have as many down days after going out. This is a strange birthday because of this. I feel like a clock has started for the rest of my life with new challenges and possibilities that I didn’t have a year ago. So as I wake up today, sore and tired from last nights migraine, I’m gearing up for a day of birthday wishes and cricket games, just grateful to be able to live life with my family. Life isn’t perfect but it’s beautiful. Each day is a gift that I don’t take for granted 🤍
