I’m 186 cm (6.10 ft) high and have been struggling with back pain for years One thing that helps alleviate the discomfort is having a full body massage every month I need to stretch more and get in the gym to strengthen my back muscles However, I struggle to find the motivation to do it 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you start regardless of the motivation, you will find the motivation along the journey. Of coz you should start from simple things and see how it goes. Or have a gym buddy to ginger you. We tend to do better as humans when we have someone in our corner to keep us going.

Accountability buddy will help - what if you just told me you'll go to the gym 3 times next week, and if you didn't, you've got to send me $100. This should motivate you to go to the gym. BTW, for back pain - you might not just want to do stretch - try some yoga and pilates (mat/reformer) too. And tell the instructor up front you have back pain.

(same height here) Something that helps me is to hang from time to time for 10-20 seconds. Most often when I find a bar high enough, outside on a playground etc.

Do some sport like crossfit, it is easier to get motivation if you work as a team. I've had back and hip problems, sport is the only thing that solves it I am a coach and I can tell you that no one comes out of obligation and the improvements are big. 100% recommended

Motivation needs to come from within.. if you don’t feel don’t force it You could take up jogging and also planking; helps with posture Also should rethink the bed you sleep on
