While I started my journey with ETH I have to strongly disagree from a perspective of avoiding toxic maximalism. ETH is great, its the grandaddy of Utility apps in Web3. but it is not the only execution machine in town. It is however arguably the most secured chain for apps(but likewise more expensive and there is a realistic ceiling to meaningful security measures)
