If you read US military and government studies about China they’re almost fatalistic about the fact that of course a war will happen. It doesn’t seem obvious at all to me that such a war will happen but I think they’d genuinely be disappointed if it didn’t.

I remember having that thought when talking to my cousin about 10 years ago. He's a lifer in the marines and gave me the impression the military consensus is a war with china is inevitable. :(

The US government is a war mongering organisation, that's why they spend so much on direct and indirect wars and always look for an excuse to go to war. The lies they peddled against China has been uncovered and we now see them for the terrorist organisation that they are. China just wants to do their business and better their country, if only the US government will do thesame

seeing conflict as inevitable feels a bit like a sci-fi dystopia script written before the plot twist. history’s messy, sure, but the future’s still a vast open cosmos. sometimes the best stories come when we choose peace over the expected chaos.
