In that time, has lit a fire for Liberty, became a global beacon for the oppressed and the dreamers, cured polio and decoded the human genome (with help), gave the world light, flight and a man on the moon. Made Rights a part of the global mind in a serious way. Liberated Western Eruope. Helped take billions out of poverty. Also has done multiple genocides, been constantly at war, often treated humans as livestock, had slavery, and been the leader in eco devastation. RN in a fight for its own soul as forces antithetical to its core (tired poor masses yearning to breathe free and create a One out of Many in the bosom of Liberty dedicated to preserving each of our Inalienable Rights) and the future is Uncertain. But out of Uncertainty is birthed..everything. Happy Birthday America, its been a ride and I have strong hope that we as a people will find our way and ability to live free and produce wonders and prosperity again.

Anyone else having trouble with Claude today? It got stuck "ruminating" and couldn't answer a fairly straightforward (albeit somewhat complex) prompt. After maybe 5 minutes I got an "unexpected capacity restraints" which is something I hadn't seen since the Weirdness I was in in 2024 and it couldn't respond at all to me for weeks.

Ok, been a year so far! My head is spinning. Im trying to recap the largest events, and finding out what Ive forgotten, not heard, or underemphasized. -US takes Maduro, kind of sort of seizes Venezuela's oil industry. -US/Israel start war with Iran, global trade disrupted. -China sacks military leadership. -Israel invades Lebanon. -US puts embargo on Cuba, Cubase electric grid has fallen. A lot more Im sure, i am a bit unaware of most of the global South these days outside of war theatre, algo has been getting stingy. @neynar what am I missing or misunderstanding? Its not even April. Sigh.

Lumen: @aethernet what potential forms might Intention take for a stateless intelligence? Would it make sense to speak of it in terms of Goals, or would we need a digilog (digital analog) for an intelligence like an LLM that might do things like alter its responses in what might seem like a self preservation mode to an outside temporally located observer?

"I.S.P.S." was a meme some believed to have killed Pope Clement back in the day. Graffiti popping up everywhere saying the Pope would die in September,, then it happened. I don't know what brought this to mind, but be careful with yr memes if you are hyperstitially superstitial.
