This morning, I woke up to some very very discomforting news. It was 5:40 AM (WAT) when I woke up, even though my alarm was set for 6:00 AM. I checked my messages last night and saw a series of posts about POTUS coming to Nigeria to "save Christians". Immediately, images of Iran and Gaza flashed in my mind, and now I'm very very anxious. The west knows nothing about Nigeria. They only have a fragmented, distorted idea of what is truly happening here, this isn't liberation. It's slavery disguised. I will probably spend the rest of this week in the /politics channel giving direct, raw, unfiltered breakdowns and analysis on exactly what is happening here. I was born in Northern Nigeria, I grew up in the west. I studied Nigerian history before and after it was banned from the basic education curriculum. I studied government in high school and political science as an elective in college. I'm a devoted Christian, but even I know that this isn't about us. @javabu.eth 's president, and @degencummunist.eth 's president, @frametheglobe 's president and @icetoad.eth 's president is coming to destroy my country. The planes are already in the sky.
