While we were just trying to recover from the ByBit hack where the hackers stole about $1.5B (some of it were recovered, about 6-7%), we were hit with Cetus hack where over $200m was stolen (over 50% of it has been frozen). This goes to show that the web3 space is still behind in security. If major CEXs or liquidity pools can be hacked, where does regular users stand? I think the focus of developers right now should be on security. How do we better security assets and transactions from getting intercepted? How can we ensure smart contracts are secure from exploits? How can we guard against networks programmable errors?

With the rise of SocialFi/InfoFi and my participation in them through various projects, I'm left with a mind buggling question that I feel founders of these projects should ask; does views and engagements equal substance? The reason for this is that there are various small accounts (1000 followers and less) that make more meaningful contributions to the web3 space than way bigger accounts, but these accounts don't get as much views or engagements, if any at all, yet the bigger accounts are perceived to have more substance. InfoFi projects say they reward quality over quantity, so why are these small accounts not being rewarded? I think they need to reaccess their analysis metrics to make room for small accounts that actually have substance, else the whole aim of InfoFi would be defeated and it'd be nothing but a farce. The AIs that analyze accounts to ascertain quality are greatly flawed in that they can be easily gamed. They need to be reprogrammed to capture real substance.

Sadly I lost my unlocked $DEGEN, the hacker didn't even think to leave some for me. 😭 Can't wait for @jacek to fix this and let us transfer to a different wallet, in case of a compromised wallet.

If you're not paying attention, you'll not realize some projects are making waves silently. For instance, many may not know that SUI network process between 13-25million transactions daily, has process over 9billion, and gets about 500 daily new coins. What this means is simple, Sui is getting noticed even though they're not doing any aggressive marketing. This is the kind of project that I look out for, the type I like to support. Reminds me of my darling $DEGEN. What project currently excites you?

Hi @jacek, one feature that'd be greatly appreciated is the withdraw locked $DEGEN to another wallet. I have a compromised wallet and I want to withdraw my locked $DEGEN to my Warplet, but that's not possible. Do consider this. Also, is there a way you can help my situation?

Have @jacek and @dwr.eth considered a formal integration? I feel like $DEGEN would make the perfect Farcaster token. That way Dan can focus on building Farcaster, while Jacek would concentrate on building $DEGEN. Of course it'd mean serious discussion and ideas integration and value/vision alignment, but it's something that I see working and benefiting both projects greatly.

So I've been interacting with the @monad-xyz ecosystem for a few months now and io really can't wait for mainnet. Apart from trx speed (always very important to me), they have great projects that would be worth looking into. My personal favorite right now is Magma liquid staking (DeFi), then there's Mahjong (GameFi). It'd be great!

In other news, I feel so sad for president Zelensky, he was used (as they usually are) to fight a war they know quite well he wasn't going to win. Lives were lost, the world cried out, but all of that don't matter to the puppeteers, they want what they want.

Ripple, think XRP, is making really big moves. They bidded to buy Circle in a bid to increase their market share of the stablecoin market. Even though the bid was rejected, I'm still very bullish on them. These are the kind of moves I expect serious projects to make. XRP will still be a great long-term play in a long time.

This year has been great so far. The world is getting to see the US for what it truly is, a lying bully. Imagine the White House official handle saying this "DO NOT RETALIATE AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED". So basically, let us bully you and we will reward you. No wonder they won't let Africa rest, we're the perfect victims. We don't complain, we don't retaliate, we just take whatever they dish out, and as a reward, they give our insurgents weapons to cause problems in regions where we have natural resources, and swoop in to take the resources for almost free. And oh, they give us loans that are never tied to anything meaningful, so we won't be free from their debt, so they can dictate what we do in our countries. Soon China would be the only super power, not just because they have a great economy, but because they don't arm insurgents in other countries, and they tie loans to meaningful infrastructures. The US empire is crumbling. Give a bully time and he'd always shoot himself in the foot.
