Most male children are usually at loggerheads with their dads until they get to that stage and realize the man had a lot of unsaid pains and struggles and then they find themselves in the same situation and begin to feel the guilt. Fathers don't get enough credit and they don't care much about it. But truth be told, they make sacrifices too. Unseen, not loud ones.

Lol not every one dad is like this please. Aren't there other fathers going through what others went through and they took care of them properly instead of violence. Give credits to the fathers that deserve it.

A lot of men including myself only start to understand their fathers once they become one or hit the same storms. The silent sacrifices, the swallowed emotions it all starts to make sense. Respect to the dads who held it down in ways words never captured.

It's not being talked much about, but getting to that age teaches them a lot that their dad really sacrificed a lot for them. It's much better if they realize it earlier than later.

Apart from them even trying. There’re so many things you can learn from your dad that your mom can never teach you, believe me. Dads are trying and I give them their cap. And to some people, thinking their dad is not trying, reality will hit them sooner than expected and they’ll know what it takes to become a dad pretty soon.
