if we look deeply enough, there’s always an answer for most of the things we do or do not do
every year for the past 4years, i’ve lost a device (re: phone) to either a petty theft like pickpocketing or a victim of robbery
last november, i lost my phone to pick pocketing when i was coming back from the clinic after a health checkup
then the year before, i got my phone stolen on eid morning. the criminal was recorded on cctv but he’s no where to be found. ruined eid for me that year lmfao
nothing happened in 2022, but in 2021, i was robbed at gunpoint and got my phone taken from me
i was introverted before all of these happened, but these unfortunate events may have also contributed to my severely introverted nature
while i handle loss n grief really well, i’m actively practicing safety, and putting conscious effort into preventing these from happening to me again.
this is not a sob story, i’m just trying to proffer an answer to the “why” when i’m asked why i’m never outside 31 replies
