i applied for a job over a week ago and they said they would get back to me but it’s almost 2 weeks now, no call or email from them and the anxiety is sorta eating me up. like, if i didn’t make the cut just let me know already so i can move on from this •︵•

How's this for a perspective: 1. When you apply for a job, you should model how you would actually be at the job. 2. At the job, you would never let so much time pass even if those were the original instructions because something could have changed the "facts on the ground" with the original instructions. 3. Leaders who can impact the success of an organization don't let grass go. They move and do. 4. The organization might appreciate your proactive email to them. 5. Worst case, you save some stress. 6. Just be professional when you reach out, and it's a win-win.

I feel you. I think that’s gotten worse over the past 2 years. Don’t ghost me! I’d rather they come back and tell me I suck than just not say anything.
