I’ve heard that Antarctica (like many places) is suffering from over tourism - which is causing environmental degradation. You should still go, but just choose a sustainable tour operator.

I have never been there but there’s been follow ups on my end cause I’d like to go someday .. The best time to visit is during the summer season, from November to March. In November, you’ll see dramatic icy landscapes and enjoy fewer crowds. December and January are the warmest months, with long daylight hours and lots of wildlife activity, including penguin chicks hatching. By February and March, the crowds thin out a bit, and it’s the ideal time for whale watching as marine life becomes more active. Based on research 🧐
