Yeah I've come to the conclusion that my answer is undoubtedly SR-71 Why: - Operated at 85,000 ft, at over Mach 3 (~2100 mph) - No SR-71 was ever shot down, because Mach 3 - 1 hour flight from SF to NYC - A special titanium body out of it from scratch for it - Absolutely bonkers https://warpcast.com/jayme/0xba21812e

Oh also they built this without: - the internet, stack overflow or google or chatgpt - no personal computers, no CAD, designs done by hand by drafters, calculations with slide rules - no 3D printing, no Jira, no Asana no GitHub - just good ol’ fashioned ingenuity So there is that

You’re definitely picking the better option but I’d take an F-117. The Delorean of the skies.

Everything about it is crazy. It looks futuristic even by today's standards, even though it's 60 years old.

The Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson has always had one of these on display for as long as I can remember. From the time I was a kid to when I took my own kids, it was the star attraction.
