Yes, the style. I'm guessing that is what is meant by that and also the Chicago pizza, as it's a style also. But it put NY pizza just one step about shoe leather.

New York pizza the style? for sure, top 2 styles are that and Neapolitan, for sure. Detroit is probably my #3, but I'd imagine there are people who would disagree.

NY pizza is superior in my opinion. Too much bread in Chicago style. NY is closer to the real Italian thing. I had many pizzas in Italy last year and they were all thin crust.
