I finally figured out how to get Vim navigation everywhere on Linux. So I thought I'd write a little update on everything I've been doing on Linux since my last post.

Really hope these efficiency improvements Apple is touting for iOS27 are real.
Re: Siri AI, I’ll believe it when I see it in person.
Like last year, I’ll install the public beta when it’s released and share thoughts along the way.

Open source music player for Jellyfin/Navidrome with YouTube music and YouTube downloading built in??? This is like tailor made for me.

I finally deleted my old Paragraph blog. Now I'm wondering if I should even keep going with the new blog. I won't rush to abandon it because I'm having fun, but I'm not sure it's worthwhile to invest time in it anymore.

The newly updated translation feature on Quorum runs buttery-smooth and integrates flawlessly with both regular Chat and Cast modes. Unlike Telegram’s pop-up translation window, Quorum’s translation is natively built into the app for a what-you-see-is-what-you-get experience. This is another solid milestone on Quorum’s

The next important feature to tackle:
Editable casts!
Several months back I posted about how one of my favourite features of Mona for Mastodon is the automatic translation that uses on-device language packs to localize all content to your language.
It’s what motivated me to pay for Mona. Ice Cubes, my other favourite Mastodon client (which is open source) has translation

Now on Quorum: Translation
Translation uses your local device translation features so messages never leave your device. (Requires language packs to download one time, but will prompt you, as seen in the screenshots)
Now available on TestFlight, Google Play Beta, and sideload: https://releases.quilibrium.com/qm-2.1.0-

Another option, that may be even more elegant, is this approach from Mona for Mastodon.
And island of four buttons with the compose button floating to the right.
What’s more, on scroll it’s hidden so the content is even more immersive.
Note: on mastodon I don’t use messages so I’ve swapped out a quick link to my p...
Just do this.
Please for the love of all that is holy, just do this. I’m so sick of pressing the compose button by accident. I’m so sick of looking at a UI that looks like it was done by a teen just figuring out how to program. There are standards and there are innovations. Farcaster has neither. It just has shit UX.

Skeets for Bluesky adding the same awesome auto-translation feature, implemented the same way, as Mona for Mastodon.

Hmmm… so I installed Navidrome to my server. It’s serving the exact same music as Jellyfin—basically just a way to have more app options.
So far though I don’t get it. Even though I’ve already run all my music through MusicBrainz and got the right metadata, Navidrome is showing the wrong metadata on many albums and ar...
