What began as a goofy little Saturday afternoon experiment with a chatbot became, in some ways, one of the most interesting things I've ever had the pleasure of sharing with you all.
I hope you enjoy My Dinner With Pyotr.

Weirdly low engagement this last week, outside of the hundreds of .base.eth bots. Checked my @neynar score and it’s at 1. I’m casting in channels about topics that have been getting a fair bit of attention. What’s the cause of the drop? Algo tweak?

Spotted on Reddit. Looks awesome. It's fully vibe coded so I'll be cautious but I may test it out at some point.

Strong recommendation: Prologue with Audiobookshelf (or Plex) for your audiobooks.
Basically perfect experience. Free, but with awesome quality-of-life features for a one-time fee for Premium. And if you want you can either buy Premium Family for up to 5 users up front, or upgrade for the difference in price.

Had to delete that post about Zcash after it reached 300+ likes and dozens of comments from .base.eth accounts. What a botted joke.

This looks cool. Open-source, self-hosted ebook management with all kinds of nice features and a polished UX.

I still—call me crazy—prefer the VS Code interface, especially Copilot chat which is in my opinion the best designed coding chat in terms of information displayed and interaction with the rest of the interface. But, with all that said, Zed is just so fast and smooth, and problem free. I'm hooked

I’ve been really into the library lately. I don’t go because I think I should have to borrow a book that’s licensed and wait for a chance to share it, because I mostly do digital content and don’t abide by the logic that there is a reason to restrict an essentially infinite resource to a select few.

If you were an university student trying to get into creative work (or just play around), you could now combine Affinity Studio for free with Apple Creative Studio for $29 a year and basically have a full Adobe suite.
I think this is great. It sucks a bit since I already own Final Cut, and I won’t benefit much as I have Creative Cloud through work and personally prefer Affinity for most tasks anyway, but…
What this does is create more competition. Affinity just did this by offering a free alternative to the photo, vector, and layou
