So after developing an indie game and getting max extracted on Solana by Jupiter and Meteora And like Jesse is afk on base chain and baseapp is a no no Like what is even left of crypto now? Like what to even do? lol Go to TON? The Russia chain? Go to Binance? The Chinese Triad Mafia chain? Ethereum remains stupid, not using that, and defi and staking is too risky Like there is actually nothing left of crypto? That's it? Gotta try Cardano? No reason to make a game or app? no reason to make a barely-profitable arb bot? Crypto really exhausted it's use cases huh
The secret ingredient is crime
Bro I went on twitter for like 10 minutes, that shit sucks lmao
Eggs was a real L for me, it wasn't money I didnt expect to lose, but I had hope for the mechanics of the app and project It costed me, but it clearly costed loyal holders like Marabara much worse It's a shame to see abandonment that looks like extraction, even my smart contract for $bestcryptotwits has a website on vercel, and even though vercel got hacked, my website can still be hosted indefinitely Likewise for my fox coin game, I built it with continuity in mind. I'm not saying "oh pay a bunch of cloud services and APIs" I'm saying there's an easy way to keep the project to contract on an HTML page. And base chain is the right block chain to automate away tasks like eggs accural. I understand Dev fatigue but this was really blindsiding the holders of the most popular NFT project on farcaster and leading a soft rug by infrastructure failure rather than direct grift. The project was abandoned when it leaded the mini app presence. Perhaps the "rot" aesthetic was a precursor to the Devs inner feelings, but come on man everyone feels somewhat off about it, was there a better to close it out or pass the torch? Like I can still play 2005 games like Addicting Games, why couldnt this also have that lifelong legacy? Hard to say
