I am using piped.video really great , sometimes a lot of loading. I am totally de-googled in the last 10 months. Using Duckduckgo everywhere, using offline Apple maps (yes its a new feature) and more.

I didn’t realize non-premium was even viable. Whenever I’m logged out (after 30 days or whatever) it is immediate beyond my ad-pain tolerance to start a single video, prompting me to immediately sign in. With Premium, it’s back to only mildly bothersome with Skillshare and Brilliant burn-in ads…

https://youtu.be/wGpHbSZZqP0 Happily using YT Premium since 2021 πŸ˜„ All you need: - this video as reference - a VPN set to India or Turkey (even just trial for a month). Make sure it’s NOT a virtual server! - a clean browser on desktop pc - a debit card that handles international currencies

This is great to see from a web3 perspective. If we want to disrupt markets, we need to see leaders continue to prioritise profit over user experiences just like this. Subscriptions and ads are emerging on every platform reducing the value the platform gives us - it’s bad for them but perhaps good for us #Wagmi

This was inevitable. I’m a heavy Youtube user and have been paying for Premium for more than 2 years now. I’m OK paying for not seeing Youtube ads as they’re are so annoying and destroying the watching experience.
