many call rome a “museo a cielo aperto,” which literally means open-air museum

amazing. great time of year to head north. florence is iconic for so many reasons and my favorite from your list. milan is also quite cool. be sure to check out the duomos in both cities (staggeringly different architecture considering the shared name)
