Corgi insurance is starting to remind me of the Delve SOC audit era. Lots of marketing. Lots of “we’re disrupting this broken industry” energy. Lots of young teams trying to reinvent a highly regulated space without necessarily having the institutional context that comes from doing this for years. And to be clear, disruption isn’t the problem. Insurance and compliance absolutely need better technology. But highly regulated industries have a way of humbling people who mistake a slick product and a good growth strategy for understanding the actual regulatory complexity underneath it. I could be wrong on Corgi, but the vibes are… familiar.
