circle drops on the news that the CLARITY Act deal would ban yield on stablecoin balances, allowing only activity-based rewards.
not great to see regulators and lobbyists still trying to stifle innovation.
the good news is that onchain commerce will be just fine.

This is the new EF Mandate.
For many of you, the contents should be no surprise, and a clarification along the lines that we have been going and thinking for the past few months. But the clarification is nevertheless worth making.
Ethereum is a unique object and has a unique role in the world. Its role is to be a san

you realize how transformative ethereum can be once you see it for what it really is: a global shared memory and programming layer.
that’s exactly the mental model we used at @slice to rethink commerce from first principles.
I was recently at Real World Crypto (that's crypto as in cryptography) and the associated side events, and one thing that struck me was that it was a clarifying experience in terms of understanding *what blockchains are for*.

One thing ERC-8128 enables is open APIs.
It's behind Slice's infrastructure design, and part of the reason that pushed us to write the standard — to extend Ethereum's permissionlessness and trustlessness to the web.
I agree with this.
Though with the proviso that because Ethereum is permissionless, various centralized and closed things will inevitably exist on top of it. Our job should be to make the open-source, permissionless, trustless, secure censorship resistant ecosystem strong, so that it can hold its own and ultimately pr

finally a vitalik take i can’t get behind: berlin does not have the best food in europe. any italian city disproves that.
would gladly take him to a few spots in milan that would change his mind quickly.
You do not have to agree with me on which applications are and are not corposlop to use Ethereum.
You do not have to agree with me on what trust assumptions are acceptable in which situations to use Ethereum.
You do not have to agree with me on political topics to use Ethereum.
You do not have to agree with my views

what a fumble by Anthropic. choosing trademark enforcement over embracing and celebrating the most successful project ever built on its product.

If a human is not tapping on the screen, the account and all associated accounts will likely be suspended—even if you’re just experimenting.
