it feels like various teams, albeit at different stages, are competing for the vision of the Finance Superapp - HL: "the blockchain to house all of finance" - CB: bringing coinbase onchain, bringing base to CB, tokenizing $COIN and presumably other equities soon, lending in-app via morpho, etc. - HOOD: expanding to crypto, prediction mkts, gambling, memes - Phantom: aiming to build "the world’s biggest and most-trusted consumer finance platform" the similarity across all seemingly is a merging of all financial activity all into one mobile app for consumers (some deviations, i.e. no HL mobile app, no tradfi stuff from phantom etc.)

I’m thinking about bringing back my “museletter” format that I wrote several years ago. 1. What’s a museletter? Each week you share what you’ve been thinking about. It’s a simple roundup of some observations and notes from the past several days. There’s no pressure to synthesize or do much formatting before publishing. Ideally you’ve already done some “thinking in public” during the week and can simply reference yourself. 2. Why bring it back? I love the consistency that @firstdraftclub has given me (31 consecutive weeks of writing something in /firstdraft) but I don't feel like I'm developing my ideas as much as I'd like. FDC is merely a "minimum viable writing habit" (h/t @sonyasupposedly). I have tons of ideas that get stuck somewhere between a cast and a full post, and I want a forcing function to push them out into the world. A weekly museletter is the next level of commitment that can be a reliable habit.

True communities aren't built on followers. They're built on collaborators. Each member should feel like a co-creator, not just a consumer. When your people have the tools to contribute meaningfully, growth becomes organic. The future belongs to those who enable others to create value.

What other signals can we surface in trending onchain notifications? - Who created the token / coin / NFT? - Who is bought? - Who has held (and has a history of holiding)? - Is there a lock up? see Clanker v3.1 - Who has a history of selling quickly? - What is the lore? Did it start from a cast? A tweet? A meme? - Does it have an app? A frame? An agent? Can I one tap into that right from the notification? - Is there a deflationary mechanic? Other notes 1. We're early and iterating. The feature will be polarizing. You can turn it off if you don't like it. 2. Farcaster's differentiation is 1) every user has a wallet 2) it's programmable. Those two characteristics help people earn money on the network (in a variety of ways). Need to lean into that.
