If you recently started, give yourself about 6 months so you can use your max strength to your limit before taking creatine

Check your goals first—creatine can help with muscle growth if you’re training hard, but don’t let social media push you into it. Research and decide for yourself.

I also have this question. I am not sure if it is needed. I think it is a trend now. I saw that it might be a good thing for vegetarians and vegans bc we get less creatine with nutrition. But I saw a nutritionist saying that it is not necessary. It should help to build muscle and with performance in sports. But I am not an athlete. So I don’t know. @afrochicks - do you have a say on creatine?

Creatine is actually a decent longevity supplement, it's not just for gym rats. Bryan Johnson includes it in his Blueprint regimen

It's well-studied, doesn't seem to have any serious side effects, it's relatively cheap, and has some surprising cognitive benefits. It's not like you must absolutely take it or you risk wasting your life, but seems to be a reasonable choice as far as the dietary supplements are concerned.

It’s Big Creatine paying all these influencers lol. But in all seriousness, I just started taking it a bit ago. From my research there were very little downsides and a lot of benefits

I've been seeing creatine everywhere, now I'm seeing everything anti-creatine. Baldness, overweight... its a lot to take in.
