Week 5 on Farcaster, and probably my least favorite so far. My feed had so many people complaining, hating, and just bad energy. Muted a bunch. There are ways to share feedback without draining the vibe. Hoping for brighter, better weeks ahead ✌🏻

💜 I’m a couple months in too, so still getting the lay of the land. I’ve observed it can sometimes feel like we’re all on an airplane together. People get agitated when there’s change (delays, turbulence, re-routing). The network literally had a different name when I joined lol. Compared to other networks, Farcaster still feels like a relatively small space. This is what can make it feel magical. This is also what can bring out what you’re describing. There are many different people here for many different reasons with many different communication styles. It takes work (and even muting) to curate the feed from content/opinions that don’t resonate. I’m learning constant curation is a must for a good experience long term, which @pichi has written about. Hoping better control in the feed brings better weeks ahead for *everyone*. I'm sorry, Elvi. Unfortunately this seems to happen to pretty much everyone who makes it to the top 10 leaderboard for some reason other than launching a project. If it makes you feel any better, they even find the energy to hate to me, so it's really a them problem. I'm happy you're here. 💜

It can get loud at times even with a smaller minority. I think it's part of being people and def part of settling a new world here where everyone gets a voice so to speak. Fortunately, the seasons don't seem to last long in my view...but I'm sure top of the leaderboard people feel it heavier, too. I don't know what your feed is like, but there will always be hundreds of great folks here daily.
