i have overcome many challenges in my life, but the ability to end a phone conversation with my mother still eludes me. i often just have to say "i'm hanging up now" because she would literally make me late for a meeting with a head of state if i didn't abruptly force the conversation to end 🫠 anyway, mom, this is why i don't call you more.

I keep having parallel experiences with you. Yesterday my nephew just stayed on the phone with a friend after the conversation was over because he didn’t know how to end it. It was crickets for a minute 😂
