あくまで自論でがあるが、昔のゲームがリメイクでオーケストラになったからと言って(特にファミコン・スーファミ時代)いつも言い訳でもなくて、昔のMidi音で完結された曲ってあると思うのよ。
かといって、近年のあからさまにピコピコ音を意識し過ぎた「チップチューン」もまた違う。そんなところで、XG音源や別物でいうとPC98シリーズのFM音源でしか補給できない特徴、魅力、栄養がある
