personally i think it's inconsiderate, but if the option to recline is there then it's not the recliner's problem

not inherently rude imo, but one’s answer might depend somewhat on how comfortable you are in the average plane seat. being > 6ft tall makes this a little more uncomfortable than if you are smaller.

Depends, but generally yes! If people behind you have roomy premium economy seats, do what you want. If everyone is reclining and sleeping because redeye, yes recline. If it's the middle of the day and person behind you has their knees against the seat or they're trying to work and you recline the seat to make life unbearable for them with no consideration, that really sucks. https://farcaster.xyz/shazow.eth/0x6ca5db5b

I find it annyoing when people do it, but I accept they have the right to. And before you reply to that, or say 'fyck anyone who...' ask yourself honestly how much you love it if the person in front of you reclines their seat.

No. Do it every time. Seats that don’t recline, like the row in front of the emergency exits, are cheaper. Therefore we paid to recline our seats and it’s expected behavior.

If you’re in business class it’s fine but economy seats don’t have leg enough leg room for passengers over 6’ when the seat in front is reclined. Spending 3 hours with your knees jammed into the seat in front of you is absolute torture. Tall folks can’t always get an exit row.
