When should we shutdown Purple's Discord and move all convos to Farcaster? Half of us hate Discord, the other half hate telegram. So why don't we just do FC

My $0.02: - Move all proposal discussions to Farcaster NOW - In the next ~2 weeks, shut down everything on Discord except 1 token-gated channel for new member onboarding - Create a read-only channel on TG and Discord for announcements - Other convos can move to small TG groups

We launched Avenue in a public beta last Friday (https://avenue.place) - feels like slap bang what you need. Keep discussions in rooms with relevant people only, submit units of work into relevant places, get mint contributions and (soon) get payed for the work you've done.

I’m ok with this. But would prefer charmverse for in depth convos. Don’t want Fc to just become a place for Purple governance. I’d like the feed to be filled with fruit memes :)

I like it I don’t think we should shut down the discord yet but start moving things to farcaster and use the discord to centralize convos and announcements that happen here on fc (for now)

I’m not a purple holder so take that as you may. I’m thinking of this in terms of the overall user experience on Warpcast and Jam. A lot of the conversation that happens here is Farcaster related, which might be bad for mass adoption. We need a variety of content. Pushing even more... longcast.jam.so/jjcWh7

More serious answer: Agree with your comments. Something I’d like to see before executing is transitioning @purple to a high signal account (new props & outcomes). Natural schelling point for discussion imo.
