I’m from Pakistan, your financial outcome is affected by the whims of elites in your country and other countries. (70% of US inflation hits outside the US) Sovereign money available on indiscriminate rails.
A major reason I'm still in crypto is the importance of people having control over their own money and financial systems. My family had everything taken from them by the communist government in China during the Cultural Revolution, simply for owning a business and being educated

Thanks for the thought-provoking piece. My main critique is that you are overemphasizing flashy but low probability events like “left-handed bacteria,” while merely giving lip service to the risk of extreme economic concentration of power, which is very real and materializing
