As someone who’s been Farcaster’s biggest cheerleader, builder, and occasional antagonist over the past 5 years — but always a champion — here’s my take: • The indefatigable, public-iteration grind @dwr and @v have shown what real “stick-to-it-ness” looks like. Five years of shipping in public, absorbing every wave of feedback, pivots, and experiments, and still showing up the next morning with another build. Most teams would’ve quit in year one. Your persistence is the real moat. • Pragmatic, not dogmatic, decentralization Farcaster is one of the few crypto projects that actually earns decentralization instead of LARPing it. You never chased maximalist applause. You made the hard, boring, correct decisions that compound long-term. • Iteration with integrity The willingness to re-evaluate assumptions, scrap dead ends, and redirect the product without ego is rare. Most founders defend ideas long past their expiration date. You two have done the opposite. • A five-year lesson in resilience for the whole ecosystem There are very few teams in crypto who’d keep going after years of “not yet” PMF to the Founders' and Investors' full expectations. Farcaster is one of them. The recent wallet breakout feels like the payoff for half a decade of rigorous, work.
