Am I the only person who reads several books together and doesn’t finish at least half of them? Currently in rotation: - The Americans and Everybody Else by Russian author I. Kurilla - Saving Time by J. Odell - Die My Love by A. Harwicz (short one but I broke it up in 4 segments) - You Are What You Watch by @walthickey

in a somewhat ironic twist here there's a bit in chapter 7 about how not binging and making sure you change up what you consume makes you like the stuff you do read more so sounds to me like you're doing fine!

I am your polar opposite. ☯️ One at a time only. If I abandon it’s a big deal.

I'm the same! Multiple books based on mood and I'm fine just dropping off ones I'm not that into

I read multiples too. Some I don’t finish until I have a bad day and need some feels.

I'm reading several books at the same time since the time i attempted to read The Karamazov brothers. It's to hard to read end-to-end in one take. It actually took me three years. so i tried to read it a long with a bunch of other books and realized that the brain is capable of it easily, just like watching different tv series. It never gets messed up with each other, you just follow different storylines at the same time. So you're not alone. I think it's one of the best hacks i found, so i'm never getting back to reading only one book before i read the next one. Also it's much easier to actually start reading because you have more options according to your current mood. Otherwise i just refuse to read if i feel not ready for a particular book at the moment

i don’t know why but i’m not gonna feel at peace if i’m not done with a show, book or movie and i move on to another (i hate it, but i guess i’m just built like that)

I don’t read in season, yet when I do I’m typically a one fiction book at a time… might have one or two non fictions in rotation yet if it’s a story I want to be singularly focused.

incredibly real, multi book rotations are the best- read some, reflect some, digest some, and repeat :)
