posted this in 2022: https://x.com/cyrusclarke/status/1489006732923715584 none of those points were really addressed. had conversations with people and heard lot of bluster and bad takes so opted out of the space. ultimately things are probably worse than i imagined they would be. there is a massive opportunity for DeSci if done well, but so far it's just co-opted by money people pretending to care about science for personal gain.

Have you ever read Tarun’s takes on it? Mine without verifiability it’s tough - but for maths and computer science we can do DeSci fairly easily.

similar problem to a lot of DAOs, without ragequit capabilities and accountability structures, it can just become a slush fund for the founding team.
