I’ve been craving steak the past couple of days and this spot hit the spot! It’s a restaurant, that as its name suggests, specializes in Picanha which is Sirloin Cap in Portuguese. I spent a couple of years of my childhood in Paraguay and as it shares its border with Brazil, there were quite a few good Brazilian churrasquerias in town. So this spread of Picanha, rice, feijoada (black bean stew) and farofa brought some sweet memories back 🇵🇾 🇧🇷 If you order the rodizio, it’s unlimited meat and side dishes. Restaurant located near Santos neighborhood in Lisbon. Plus look how pretty the interior of the restaurant is!!
Our favorite brunch place in Lisbon is deBeco. Variety of delicious dishes & good specialty coffee ☕️ Love that they have seats outside to enjoy the good weather

My husband is Turkish so I try to recreate some Turkish dishes at home. Today I made pogaca which kind of tastes like the intersection between brioche and Japanese salt bread. The dough is made of a generous amount of olive oil, yogurt, egg white, and flour with lots of dill and parsley. In the middle you can add whatever white cheese you have. I added feta. Imagine having this straight from the oven with Turkish tea! Happy to share the recipe to anyone who wants to make this at home
